Braddock Employment and Training Center (BETC):

The BETC building is located at 849 Braddock Avenue in Braddock, PA. BETC provides services such as career assessment and counseling, career link registration, computer lab access, job placement and referrals, job readiness assessment, on site interviews, resume preparation, on site employment interviewing, pre-screening and referral of qualified candidates. The majority of services are free of charge; however in some cases tuition is required. Grants are available for program participants who demonstrate financial need. Modern Office System Training (MOST):

The MOST Program successfully trains students in clerical and office technologies skills required to obtain employment as office clerks, receptionists, data entry operators, secretaries, customer service representatives and medical office secretaries. Students may earn advance placement credits toward a certificate or degree at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) for work completed. For more information please contact (412) 273-6450.

Computer Literacy Course:

Hill House Out of School Youth Program:

The Hill House Association is a comprehensive community service provider and facilitator that meets the needs of Hill District residents and diverse constituents in the Greater Pittsburgh region. Forbes Road Adult GED:

The mission of the Forbes Road Adult GED program is to prepare adults with adequate knowledge to pass the GED exam, college entrance exams and nursing boards. Pennsylvania I.D. required. For more information please contact (412) 273-6450. Forbes Road Move Up Program: A Department of Welfare initiative to assist adults with reading and math to prepare them for employment. For more information please contact (412) 273-6450. 4 Kids Drop-In Child Care Center: The 4 Kids Drop in Child Care Center is a State licensed center that serves children from infancy to 12 years of age. Hours are from 8:00 am-4:00 pm daily. Children can be left up to four hours daily while parents are attending meetings, classes, or conducting business in the Braddock Employment Training Center (BETC) Services building. Action Housing - Youth Build: Youth Build is a youth and community development program that simultaneously addresses core issues facing low-income communities: Housing, Education, Employment, Crime Prevention, and Leadership Development. In Youth Build programs, low-income young people ages 16-24 work toward their GED or high school diploma, learn job skills and serve their communities by building affordable housing. 4 Families:

Is a social service program that supports 4 Kids students and families in ways that might not be available to them elsewhere. 4 Families provides information, advice, and support to help; helps parents and children gain access to health and mental health. In the classroom staff supplements the existing curriculum with special activities that promote the children's social, emotional and behavioral progress, and we offer to arrange specialized help for children in those areas when needed.
